  • Webinar on ‘Core Biomedical Companies and Start Ups: All you need to know’ and ‘Covid and Post Covid: the skills required’.

 A webinar was organized by IEEE EMBS SBC MEC in association with BMA (Biomedical Association) on the topic ‘Core Biomedical Companies and Start Ups : All you need to know’ and ‘Covid and Post Covid: the skills  required’.  The session was organized to brief about the job opportunities after COVID-19, whether the pandemic is an advantage or disadvantage for biomedical engineers and key areas to focus. 70 students participated.

  • Webinar on ‘Essential Job Skills for Biomedical Engineers’

IEEE EMBS SBC MEC organized a webinar on ‘Essential Job Skills for Biomedical Engineers’ for students of Electronics and Biomedical Engineering. The section aims to introduce the various possibilities of this field and job opportunities for biomedical engineers. Also the effective learning strategies and basic knowledge required for biomedical engineers are discussed. 62 students participated.

  • Webinar on ‘EMBS and its benefits

 A webinar on ‘EMBS and its benefits’ was conducted on August 1st , 2020 as a membership development program. The resource persons were Madhu Krishnan, Malabar hub MDC and Krishnapriya Sreekumar the Kochi Hub MDC of the  IEEE EMBS Kerala Chapter Student Activities.59 students participated.

  • Elixir – The Biomedical Quiz.

 

A quiz was conducted on the 3rd of October, 2020. The quiz was titled ‘ELIXIR – THE BIOMEDICAL QUIZ’. The questions was based on hospital equipment and other topics in the field of biomedical engineering.78 students participated.
